Gents on 1 of the wettest and windiest days that I personally have ever attended a final on it was a testament to both teams that there was still some great golf to be watched, thanks must be given to the green staff at the Vale of Leven in the way that they set up their course and the excellent condition that it was in, my personal thanks to their Convener Chad Wright for arranging the date and time and also for being there to meet and greet both teams and accompanying me and our President Bill McCoo and Past President Derek McCulloch out on the course, Thanks Chad. Many thanks to the Captain and members of the Vale for allowing us the courtesy of the course to host our final and last but by no means least to the Bar Staff and Catering Staff for keeping us fed and watered and making us feel most at Home. Gents at this stage I feel I should point out to you all that whilst playing golf and entering another Club's Clubhouse you should try and at least have the courtesy off dressing properly, not all Clubs allow Collarless Tee Shirts in their Clubhouse and I feel by doing things like that you are disrespecting the League which is disappointing.
