Gents, Final now been played, what an excellent Final it was, all games were played in very competitive but sporting manner, the   Antonine Course at Dullatur was an excellent test of all the player's skills and worthy off hosting such a final. Many thanks to the Captain and Committee for granting us the courtesy of their course,  at this time I would like to thank upon behalf of the League and personally an ex Convener of the league and Match Secretary of Dullatur for helping me out at short notice, Many many thanks to Derek McAteer. 1 phone call and he sprang into action and fixed up the tie for me, also thanks to all Conveners and Clubs for their help in getting this far so quickly.

Gents I think I must add that watching this great final and the after match chat amongst the players it brought it to my attention that this is probably the best League in the West of Scotland for great team spirit and much camaraderie amongst the players and as such is a great ambassador for the golf clubs that participate, many thanks to our President Mr Derek McCulloch for his endless "chatter" on the day and his great After Dinner speech, Thanks Derek.
